November, 26: "Ukr-China Steel" Ltd. became the official dealer in Ukraine of Chinese metallurgical business concern "Sutor Group".

Chairman of our Beijing office, Mr. Tao Sun, General Manager, Mr. Victor, and chief representative Ms. Zhonglin Zhu visited the Sutor office in the World Trade Center and a strategic exclusive agency agreement was entered into by and between Ukr-China Steel and Sutor Technology Group Limited. Ms. Lifang Chen, Chairlady & CEO of Sutor Group, Mr. Xiao Sun, senior vice president and Mr. Zhuo Wang, general manager of International Business Dept., gave a warm reception to the guests. The two parties exchanged and discussed main points seriously and come to terms in the end. Mr. Tao Sun, and Mr. Victor, are both very familiar with CIS markets, consumer habits, and local cultures. Dependent on Ukr-China Communication Ltd’s sales network in CIS and Sutor Group’s technical and brand support, a win-win situation will be able to be reached. Mr. Tao Sun gave a high praise on what Sutor Group had done in the area of steel finishing fabrication products. He said:” I have a plenty of experiences in teaming up with many other suppliers before, but none is as active and promising as Sutor Group. I believe that this cooperation could lead to a very high stage!”. After a brief introduction, Ms Lifang Chen said:” In order to be an important global fine finishing fabrication steel manufacturer, Sutor will invest more sources to promote its brand globally. This cooperation will be the chance for the development of both parties. It’s convincing that the further profound cooperation will occur in the near future.”

August, 21: Reliance Steel & Aluminum completes its acquisition of the outstanding capital stock of PNA Group Holding Corp., raises $500 million in a new unsecured term loan, and settles cash tender offers for PNAs Senior Notes.

August, 19: As from August, 2008 new company division Ukr-China Steel Ltd (include our enterprise Ukr-China Communication) will be opened. This division will organize wholesale delivery of China metals. We are planning to negotiate armature, galvanized steel, rolled iron with polymeric coating. This new direction will be presented on separate web site, where all metal products nomenclature will be reported.
